Pieter Cornelis van den Berge (born 1958, Rotterdam, the Netherlands) lives and works in Drunen. He first got into photography when he was studying medicine. 

As a medical doctor, he is trained to work with people at their most vulnerable who grant him permission to invade their privacy. As a result, he  always had an intense interest in the dynamics of trust and control when it comes to that interaction.

The working process is full analog. Slow photography and spirituality is connected to it.  Most of the work has to be done in the darkroom. He loves to print on baryta silver gelatin paper.
